Update from Jon Whitcombe, Trust Principal -
As you will be aware, the DfE has stated that Year 10 and Year 12 students will receive some “face to face” contact with their teachers during Term 6. Currently, we are awaiting guidance from the DfE as to what this means in practice.
Once the guidance is published we will develop our plans and make the necessary arrangements. On June 1st we will write to you explaining what “face to face” means in practice and we will be in a position to confirm when this will commence.
Please note that the current arrangements for online teaching for Years 10 and 12 will continue until further notice.- Read More

Termly exhibitions at The Whitstable School are an opportunity for pupils to showcase the work that they have produced during the term. Oracy underpins all of the exhibitions with pupils not only showing off their work but also articulating the processes they have been through, challenges they have faced and overcome and aspects of projects that they have enjoyed. Different subject areas are represented each term, sharing good practice from across the curriculum. Visitors find the events highly engaging and pupils are empowered to be confident when discussing their work, taking pride in the processes they go through.
Should you wish to attend one of our exhibitions, please contact Mrs L Williams or 01227 931300
